It’s two a.m. (2:00). It’s five a.m. (5:00). It’s ten a.m. (10:00). He comes at 9 a.m. The train leaves at 11 a.m.

It’s two p.m. It’s five p.m. It’s ten p.m. (22:00). We met at 11 p.m. The train leaves at 11 p.m.

What time is it?

> С точками: a.m. и p.m.

Например, если вы увидите надпись «The office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.», она будет означать, что часы работы офиса — с 9 утра до 6 вечера.

It is five fifteen AM —

It’s eight thirty PM —

We must send this letter at 2 a.m. —

Tomorrow I’ll wake up at 6 am, not later —

  • ET — Северноамериканское Восточное Время — UTC/GMT -5:00;
  • EST — Северноамериканское Восточное Стандартное Время — UTC-5;
  • CEST — Центральноевропейское Летнее Время — UTC+2;
  • CET — Центральноевропейское Стандартное Время — UTC+1;
  • PT — Северноамериканское Тихоокеанское Время — UTC/GMT -8:00;

Principal Cities: The largest city in the GMT timezone is London from United Kingdom with population about 7.557 million people. Other major cities in the area are Abidjan, Dakar, Grand Dakar, Accra

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) originally referred to the mean solar time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London. It is now often used to refer to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) when this is viewed as a time zone, and in casual use for the most parts it is the same. In military GMT is known as Zulu time.Greenwich Mean Time was the same as Universal Time (UT), until the introduction of UTC in 1972 a standard astronomical concept used in many technical fields.
